22 brave folks met at the Indiana Dunes State Park Nature Center on Saturday, January 25th for our first Snow Shoe adventure. The winds were whipping, the snow was falling, the temperatures were dropping…but everyone there knew they wanted to have fun and enjoy what nature has to offer! Park Ranger, Amber, talked a little about the history of snow shoes and then everyone got fitted and headed out for about a 25 minute hike. The sun came out and everyone worked up an appetite and headed back to Bartlett’s for a delicious lunch and a few cocktails.
